Some missing features badly needed for Filo

I have been using Filo for the last 9 months on my mac running Tahoe 26.1 and below are my remarks on badly needed missing features:

  • Email signatures: not possible to have a customized email signature for outgoing messages

  • Sync with calendar is non existent

events are not automatically logged into calendar when they are accepted

  • Searching and finding name does not automatically open new message with that name in new blank message layout

  • No clear sorting methods of mail data base

    @Mia Liu I am unable to save my custom email signature as the Signature settings doesn’t appear to allow for any code based signatures or rich html settings. Its super basic text options and when installing my Signature Hound signature it makes it look terrible. As a media company we always need to present with good design so this would be a deal breaker for using the software as we can’t have every email we send our clients looking bad.

      Thanks for sharing this, Dale. We hear you.

      Filo currently supports rich-text email signatures, but importing code-based / full HTML signatures from tools like Signature Hound may not preserve the original design well yet. I understand why this is important for client-facing emails, especially for a media company.

      We’ll look into this and explore how we can better support HTML signature import and preserve the layout, images, links, and styling more reliably.

    1. We now support setting a separate sending signature for each account. You can see the specific location in the image.

    2. Could you please tell me if the accepted events not automatically logging into the calendar is a constant issue or an intermittent problem?

    3. Our product team will seriously consider the request to open a "New Message window" directly after searching for a name.

    4. Could you please elaborate on what kind of sorting methods you would like?

      1-Regarding the signature: I have my own designed signature saved as JPEG. your signature feature does not permit me to insert it as such. herebelow is my mail signature:

      2-As for the accepted events it is a constant issue. Filo does not seem to be able to sync with the mac calendar.

      4-Be able to sort out by name (regardless of date) in both inbox and sent messages.

        Thank you for your answer. We have scheduled the feature for signature with image support, and we will also consider a more refined list filtering feature.

        Regarding the calendar synchronization issue, I'd like to know: are you hoping to be able to synchronize your Filo To-Do schedule/events to the Mac Calendar?

        I initially thought you were referring to an issue where we couldn't properly support using calendar invitations within emails, but that feature is normal/working as expected. If there's an issue with that, please provide me with more details. As shown in the figure, are you having any issues when using this feature?

          I have been pressing these buttons since day one, but so far nothing is getting scheduled on the calendar ! Is there some kind of a config. I am missing ?

            For all the calendar invitation emails you receive, after you click the 'Accept' button in Filo, are the calendar entries not syncing?
