Thanks for the note! The left-pointing arrow at the top of the message view is the Back button—it closes the read panel and takes you back to the list.

Oh! Thanks, I thought it was the PREVIOUS EMAIL icon. It’s my fault.
I’m not sure if, in most user experiences, the close button is usually represented by an (X) and placed at the top right corner. If no other users have an issue with it, then it’s probably just me.

It is because of the layout we set for Filo, the inbox is more of a side page so the “x“ quit does not fit here, from an UI design perspective. Yeah, this might be new to some users, but as long as you know what it does, you’re good to go:)
